Yo Yo

Please find attached a form that explains the yo yo's that can be purchased next week at the school.  The NED show is a pay it forward program, they use the sales of yo yo's to raise money to provide their shows to schools for free.

Today the message from Grace (the yo yo presenter) was about Never giving up, Encouraging others, and Doing your best; this statement mirrors many of our PACK qualities and I reminded students that this is an expectation at Pacific Way.  We expect students to respect others, to be positive, accountable, cooperative and kind. This is a message that has needed some reteaching lately and we (the staff) appreciate your support in discussioning these qualities with your children.

The yo yo's vary in price from 8, 10 and 15 dollars.  The attached sheet has more information.  The presenter was clear to the students that they should go home today and explain the message of the show (never give up, encourage others, and do your best) then to ask parents what they could do to earn a yo yo (if that is what they wanted).  Again the purchase of any item is optional and not a school expectation.

There will be a zone at the front of the school for those students that wish to use their yo yo's (you can certainly bring one from home) and an expectation of following the three NED rules (keep your distance, no throws, and only yo in the NED zone)
